Primera noche en Hiroshima / First night in Hiroshima

It was snowing at night, when we were picking up something to eat at the hotel, to have the last meeting of the day. We though that we were very lucky if it was snowing during the night, because Hiroshima would be “white” at least in the early morning.

When the saints walked through this land, long time before the bomb devastated until the mountains, there were a lot snow when they walked here. Not only was snowing in Hiroshima. They also had other adverse climatological situations like, ice and rain. But for us is a lucky day because we can shoot a day like they had when they were here. We are prepared for a cold winter and even though it’s very cold. We cannot imagine they were able to survive… they were suffering a real hardship.

In between all the documents that we have found, it is related about the forest that San Pedro and the 25 Martyrs had to go through, in their way to Nagasaki. Looking for these images through the path that they followed, we have found an absolutely beautiful nature. In Kyoto, we found one of the most beautiful landscape that we can imagine. A tangled Bamboo forest, that remind us, how hard their way was.
